Lincoln shoots for a happier ending after troubled MKZ launch
Fri, 03 May 2013How far off track did the launch of the redesigned Lincoln MKZ get? The car, whose chassis bears the burden of a once-thriving luxury brand now trying to prove it's still relevant -- originally was supposed to start arriving at dealerships last fall, around the same time Steven Spielberg's movie Lincoln was hitting theaters around the country. Ironman Stewart retires, sells all
Fri, 27 Aug 2010The off-road racing accomplishments of Ivan "Ironman" Stewart might never be matched: 82 major wins in desert racing, 17 of them in the crash-and-bang Mickey Thompson stadium series, three Baja 1000s and others too numerous to squeeze in here over a career that spanned 30 years. The thing that really sets him apart is that, while competitors shared driving duties over the long desert courses, Stewart did the vast majority of them alone, with no relief drivers--just him and the dirty, dusty desert. But even legends want to retire someday.
Peugeot SxC concept
Thu, 14 Apr 2011Peugeot have revealed pictures of its latest concept ahead of its Shanghai launch. Dubbed the SxC, the show car has been designed solely at the Peugeot Style Studios in China. Sitting atop 22inch wheels and weighing in larger in every dimension than a Range Rover, the Peugeot SxC is an 'impressive size' according to Peugeot, but also harks back to design elements of previous concepts such as the BB1, EX1 and SR1.
