Wiring and terminal ends are intact. No apparent damage, cracks or breaks. Motor had solid spark prior to being disassembled due to a cracked cylinder.

Here is a used trigger sensor assembly from a 1980 Mercury 25hp freshwater outboard motor, serial 9379886.  OEM part number is 98450A.   Looks to have been used on 1980 to 1983 model year Mercury 18 and 25 hp models.  Part is in good shape with all wiring and terminal ends intact.  Motor had good spark prior to being disassembled due to a cracked block.  All parts are sold AS IS for PARTS ONLY with no warranty expressed or implied so please ask all questions prior to bidding. Dodge to stop Viper production next July, new car set for 2012

The future of the Dodge Viper came into focus on Wednesday during Chrysler's strategy briefing for media and analysts. Ralph Gilles, recently named chief of the Dodge car brand, said that production of the current Viper production will cease at the end of next July. The final 500 cars have been earmarked to be special vehicles, Gilles said.
