Top Gear Series 20 starts on Sunday
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Top Gear’s back on Sunday Top Gear is back with Series 20, starting this coming Sunday (30th June). On offer for the first episode (more details on Sunday morning) will be the arrival of the new ‘Reasonably Priced Car’ with help from the likes of Warwick Davis, Charles Dance and Joss Stone, a trip to New Zealand to race an America’s Cup Yacht and a hot hatch fight-off between the Renaultsport Clio 200, Peugeot 208 GTI and Ford Fiesta ST. Eterniti Motors sells first Eterniti Artemis at Beijing auto show
Mon, 14 May 2012Eterniti Motors, which first showed us the Hemera super SUV concept in Frankfurt, then the production version--called the Artemis--in Beijing, sold its first car at the Chinese show. The company took five orders for the Eterniti Artemis, four in standard specification and one bespoke version. The standard Artemis SUV costs $337,500, converted from British pounds.
Volvo debuts S60L for the Chinese market
Fri, 29 Nov 2013If you've tried the Volvo S60, did you get the feeling that it might benefit from a little more legroom in the back? The first-generation S60 and the second-generation S60 are fine automobiles, but if there's one gripe we've heard from owners about their cars, it's that rear-seat legroom could be a tad more generous (on that one day of the year when they have more than two people in the car). For the 2014 model year, Volvo is introducing a long-wheelbase version of the sedan, dubbed the S60L, but it will be available only in the Chinese market where long-wheelbase sedans are "a thing." The S60L will have a wheelbase that is 3.1 inches longer than the standard model, for a total of 112.4 inches, all benefiting rear-seat passengers.
