Peugeot 208: More details & Video
Wed, 02 Nov 2011Peugeot 208 - video and extra detail We’ve already covered the reveal of the Peugeot 208, but most of the information we had was in advance of Peugeot’s official release of details on the replacement for the 207. So we thought we should update with the extra bits that have come in from Peugeot on the new 208 this morning. There are already more photos in the gallery for the Peugeot 208 (below) than Peugeot sent us, so we’ve covered that.
The best bits of Monterey Car Week 2014: a Pebble Beach photo gallery
Mon, 18 Aug 2014CAR’s Ben Oliver is just back from the races, auctions and shows of Monterey Car Week, culminating in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Here’s his completely unrepresentative photo-diary: as you’ll see, he got most excited by the oddball Concours de LeMons… The standard of restoration required to exhibit at the Concours de LeMons is a little lower than at the other Monterey Car Week events. This is the kind of thing you see parked on the street during Monterey Car Week: the Blastolene Brothers Dream Rod, with its 2000bhp, 41-litre Packard tank engine.
VR Chevrolet Camaro (2010): the UK's Camaro
Sat, 31 Oct 2009By Jonny Smith First Official Pictures 31 October 2009 20:47 When GM uncloaked their Camaro retro remake at the 2006 Detroit auto show, the domestic audience understandably adored it. That muscle car concept is now a showroom reality, but any plans of bringing a right-hook version to South African, Aussie or Brit shores have been quashed – presumably due to low-volume sales and GM’s moth-eaten wallet.Much like a Mustang or Challenger, if you live in Britain and want a Camaro, you have to settle for a specially imported left-hooker. Come January 2010, when these rendered images of the VR Camaro will be a reality, UK customers won’t have to worry about doing any of the importation or UK-spec work.
