Notice to bidders: We have a warehouse full of used British car parts. We try to describe each of them as accurately as we can and we also provide a picture so you can see the item for yourself. Most often we are told the delivered part was better than described. However, we will unintentionally make a mistake or overlook something from time to time. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you receive an item from us that you feel we misdescribed, please give us a call so we can find a solution for the oversight.

Peel P50 and Trident back in production – the world’s smallest car

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

Peel P50 and Peel Trident - backed by James Caan The Peel P50 and Trident – the Isle of Man’s contribution to the car world – are now back in production with an electric motor. Top Gear fans will probably remember Jeremy Clarkson taking the Peel P50 – billed as the world’s smallest car ever – for a trolley round London and the BBC (we’ve published the video below to remind you). Now, with the world obsessed with small cars, a bunch of businessmen – backed by former Dragons’ Den Dragon James Caan – are putting the Peel P50 and Trident back in to production.

2013 Toyota RAV4 infotainment technology

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Since Super Bowl ads gave the public a good look at the all-new exterior of the 2013 Toyota RAV4 , we thought we'd dig deeper and give you an idea of what to expect inside this quasi-SUV. What we learned was that life inside of the 2013 RAV4 will be very similar to what it was like in the 2012 model, at least with respect to technology, because none of the infotainment technology has been upgraded. Toyota did upgrade in-dash technology for 2012 model-year vehicles, so the existing features shouldn't be all that outdated in 2013 models such as the RAV4.

Inside the Lexus LFA Centre of Excellence

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Inside the Lexus LFA Centre of Excellence The Lexus LFA is like no other Lexus – and, in many ways, unlike any other supercar – so Lexus make sure the 38 LFAs in Europe get the specialist care they need. Lexus has established a Centre of Excellence for the LFA in Cologne where a team of LFA experts make sure that every LFA in the UK and Europe gets treated just like a Le Mans car when it comes in for servicing. That means removing body panels to get access to the suspension, steering and subframe, every nut and bolt double checked, fingertip inspection of the discs and pads, x-rays to check for wear and detailed inspection of the CFRP bodyshell as well as normal stuff like oil and filter changes.
