You are bidding on a new spin-on oil filter adapter for a Triumph TR250 or TR6.  There have been changes made by the manufacturer to solve some sealing issues with the earlier version. Adapter is only for a spin-on filter, not for a filter and oil cooler. We can suppy that version as well. Make your life easier with a readily available spin-on filter. Longtime auto journalist David E. Davis Jr. dies

David E. Davis Jr., inarguably one of the deans of automotive journalism, died on Sunday, March 27, at age 80. Davis had been suffering from bladder cancer and underwent surgery a few days earlier.

The Porsche 911 GT3 (pictured) is getting a new engine Last month, after two new Porsche 911 GT3s caught fire, Porsche stopped delivering new 911 GT3s to owners, halted production and advised owners not to drive their new pride and joy. But now Porsche say they have discovered the cause of the issue and have a fix – a new engine. The fault that caused the fires is as simple as faulty connecting rod fasteners which damaged the crankcase, so Porsche is in the process of building new engines for all 785 GT3s already made with new connecting rod fasteners.

Toyota ordered by Japan to address Prius brake complaints

Toyota Motor Corp., already grappling with recalls totaling 8.1 million vehicles on five continents, has been ordered by Japan's Ministry of Transportation to investigate a rash of consumer complaints about braking problems in its popular third-generation Prius hybrid vehicle. The Japanese carmaker has received several complaints about braking in the Prius in both Japan and North America since the end of last year, Toyota spokeswoman Ririko Takeuchi said. She did not say when the directive was issued or how Toyota would respond.
