Tucker 48 T-Shirt, from Tucker Club Mini-Meet IV

This t-shirt, adults size X-Large, features Gold Tucker 48 Sedan on the front with caption "Mini Meet IV"; plain black on revere side.  "Mini Meets" were informal gatherings of Tucker Automobile Club members that would take place in various parts of the country.

This shirt was purchased by myself at Mini Meet IV, which was in Indianapolis, IN, the exact year I do not recall, sometime in the mid 1990's.  A very limited number of shirts were printed for this particular gathering, herewith is one of them, very rarely worn since then.

50% Cotton, 50% Polyester, size Extra-Large, excellent condition, very lightly worn,

Jaguar F-Type to get V8 engine option

The Jaguar F-Type will get a V8 powerplant in addition to a supercharged V6 when it launches in 2013, Autoweek has learned. The much-anticipated two-seat sports car was confirmed in April at the New York auto show. Jaguar then elaborated weeks later at the Beijing motor show that the F-Type would get a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 pushing out 380 hp.

Lexus LFA (w/ Gallery)

Mon, 26 Oct 2009

Lexus presented the LFA at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show last week, the culmination of four years and two show cars. The new front-mid engined supercar is skinned in carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), which, aside from being both lightweight and strong, also enabled greater freedom to create shapes, curves and edges. Seen in the flesh, however, the white bodycolor did the LFA few favors, though this choice may have more to do with slighting Acura - the last NSX, the Type-R, was also white with a red and black interior.
