Vauxhall and Opel have also been linked to a possible sale to the Chinese.

Neither suffered serious injuries but they were understood to have been left "shaken" after pulling themselves out of the wreckage.

Thu, 23 Jun 2011

Lotus has confirmed details for its new inhouse V8 engine family, which will make its first road car appearance in the 2013 Esprit. 'The feedback from customers was "how can you justify a £100,000 car with a Toyota engine?",' said chief executive Dany Bahar.
