Toyota Aygo Crazy set for Goodwood debut

It's a one-off, attention-grabbing supermini with a mid-engined layout like the Renault Clio V6.  The racing Aygo uses a 200bhp turbocharged version of Toyota's 1.8 VVT-i engine from the Celica and MR2 – making it somewhat more powerful than the regular Aygo's 68bhp. Nissan Driver Assist – be Michael Schumacher

Nissan have developed 'Driver Assist' to make crashes a things of the past Driver Assist uses GPS to track the car’s progress, and set it up in advance on twists and turns in the road. The system uses integral sensors to check how the driver is setting the car up for the corner and adjusts the settings if the driver is not getting it right. It can correct over or under steer by applying braking to any of the wheels individually and even adjust the torque to make sure the car goes where the driver intends.

Former Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda takes over as Fisker front man

Former Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda is taking over as chief executive of Fisker Automotive from founder Henrik Fisker. Fisker, 48, will pass daily-operations duties to LaSorda, 57. Fisker, a former Aston Martin and BMW designer, will focus on growing the company in overseas markets, building brand awareness and design.
