The Fiat Freemont - Dodge Journey with a Fiat badge
At the end of December we revealed that Fiat had decided they should take the Dodge Journey and turn it in to a Fiat. The Fiat Freemont – for that is what Fiat had decided to rename the Dodge Challenger for Europe – would effectively be a replacement for the Fiat Ulysse MPV. It seems that Fiat has caught up with our story, so we now have official details on what the Freemont will offer.

Audi A1 1.6 TDI - beat the congestion charge
It’s of no use whatsoever for anything that actually matters, but getting below 100g/km Co2 is a big marketing deal for any car maker. Which is why Audi has been busy tweaking the Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Since launch, the A1 1.6 TDI has been churning out 105g/km which, although it’s all of tuppence a week, gets charged VED simply because the government has decreed Co2 to be the measure of a car’s frugality (it’s not).

The Fiesta Black and Red Editions arrive with a 138bhp 1.0 litre EcoBoost
Everyone loves a sporty Fiesta – still a cracking little car in any guise – but it looks like Ford has spotted a gap in the market between the Zetec S with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost and the Fiesta ST. So we get the Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions to fill the gap we didn’t actually know was there. Ford has managed to squeeze even more power from their little 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine to give the Fiesta Red and Black Editions 138bhp, enough to crack 62mph in just 9.0 seconds.
