By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 02 October 2008 15:12 Seat wheeled out its feisty new Ibiza Cupra – all 180bhp of it – and followed it up by its new old A4-based Exeo, and topped off its show with its ultra-clean Ibiza Ecomotive.  Penned by ex-Lamborghini designer Luc Donkerwolcke, the Cupra is the first Ibiza that we’ve really warmed to. On its chunky 17-inch alloys, aggressive body kit and go-faster details, it looks far closer to the Bocanegra concept we saw in Geneva at the start of the year. And that’s a good thing.

Porsche 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition - celebrating a decade of Porsche in China It must have seemed a slightly optimistic decision when Porsche decided to make its mark in China in 2001 by opening a Porsche Center in Beijing, But it turned out to be a stroke of genius. China is now the second most important market for Porsche with the Stuttgart car maker now shifting almost 14,000 cars a year, a big change from the handful it managed in 2002. Big markets deserve special editions, and with plenty of wealthy individuals in China keen to have something no one else has, the Porsche 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition – a moniker which fortunately isn’t written on the boot – will sell out straight away.

But for Porsche fans out there the modest set of photos of the new Boxster Spyder were never going to be enough, so the good news is that Porsche has now sent us a full gallery of images of the Boxster Spyder for those of you who need more of a Spyder-Fix before the launch proper at the Los Angeles Motor Show next month. The Los Angeles Motor Show is probably the perfect location for Porsche to launch the Boxster Spyder.
