Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2013: in pictures

Every year the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance names its Best in Show and this year a 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve Dietrich Convertible Victoria took the crown. The Packard Twelve is considered as one of the finest automobiles produced by Packard and the judges felt this example stood out, even in such illustrious company. Turkish Grand Prix (2010) RESULT

The 2010 Turkish Grand Prix - a fight between Red Bull & McLaren. The rest were also-rans Turkey is all about East meets West. The Turkish Grand Prix was about two different comings together – that of the fight between Red Bull and McLaren, but more significantly the meeting of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, who managed to meet on the track – in what looked like a Vettel mistake – whilst running first and second.

2013 Pilkington Design Awards winners announced

Royal College of Art Vehicle Design graduates Nir Siegel and Ian Slattery have taken top honors at the 26th annual Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards, held at the RCA in London. Jaguar designer Earl Beckles presented the award for Best Design Interpretation to Siegel for his Audi Genesis project, a vehicle that builds itself using 3D printing technology to the user's specifications, providing a new kind of owner experience. Beckles said that Siegel's idea was fresh and innovative, while also carrying an interesting story and development process.
