Unidentified Kawasaki KZ Street Bike Gas Tank from the 1980’s

The Product: This is a used Kawasaki 1980’s KZ Street Bike gas tank. We are not sure which year or model this tank fits.

Research: We received this tank as being labeled to fit a 1980’s Kawasaki KZ Street Bike from a buyout that we did of a motorcycle salvage shop. Our parts manager looked over the tank and stated that he is not sure the exact model this is off of. We suggest that you compare your tank to what you see in the pictures before purchasing it.

Layout of Pictures: The first picture is of the top of the gas tank. The second picture is of the bottom. The third picture is of the right side. The fourth picture is of the left side. The fifth picture shows the inside of the gas tank. The sixth picture shows the front of the tank. The seventh picture shows the rear of the tank. The eighth and ninth pictures show the damage. The tenth picture shows the label on the bottom of the tank.

Condition: This gas tank is used and does have some damage to it. The tank has a 2” dent labeled #1 and a 1” dent labeled #2 on the left side as seen in picture #8. A small ding labeled #3 and a small ding labeled #4 on top as seen in picture #9. There are also light scratches and scuffs. When we looked inside there is light rust visible, however we cannot see the entire inside of the tank. We suggest that you assume that you will need to clean and reseal the interior of the tank with tank sealer prior to mounting. We are not able to check for leaks.

Shipping Quotes: If you are interested in purchasing multiple items and would like to know what your shipping amount will be before purchasing the items please use the “Ask Seller a Question” link and provide the following information: Items’ listing numbers and titles, quantities of each item you are interested in and where you would like the items shipped to. Buyers in the United States please provide your zip code, buyers in Canada please provide your postal code and all other buyers please state which country the items will be shipped to. All shipping quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date.

Automatic Invoicing: If an item is not paid for within three days of being purchased and we have not received any correspondence from you we will automatically send an invoice. If you have finished shopping please make your payment within 10 days of the purchase date. If you wish to purchase additional items please contact us and request a combined invoice before submitting your payment.

Handling Time: Items normally ship within one business day of your payment clearing; however if there is a problem with your shipping address, extreme weather conditions, etc. there may be a delay.

Tracking Information: Once our shipping department has generated your shipping label you will receive an automated email with your tracking number. You can also view your item’s tracking information through “My Ebay”. If you do not receive your tracking number please contact us through the “Ask Seller a Question” link.

Shipping & Payment Terms for Buyers Located in the United States:

Payment Methods: We accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard, we do not accept personal checks. Payment must be received within 10 days of purchase or we will open a “Non Paying Bidder” dispute with eBay. If you pay with PayPal please verify your PayPal address is correct as we will only ship to the registered PayPal address. If you wish to pay with a credit card please call us at (302) 674-4990, Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Shipping Terms: During checkout you will often be given the option to choose between UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail shipping. If you have a P.O. Box address select USPS Priority Mail since UPS does NOT deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you select UPS shipping and your PayPal account is a P.O. Box we will ship the item through USPS Priority Mail if the amount you have already paid for UPS shipping covers USPS Priority Mail shipping. If additional funds are required we will hold your order and send you a request for additional funds to ship the item via USPS Priority Mail.

USPS policy prohibits shippers from filing a missing package claim until 20 days have passed since the shipping label was generated; therefore we are unable to begin a claim until the 20 days have passed.

Please keep in mind we will NOT make alternate shipping arrangements over the phone; all correspondences must be made via email.

Shipping Terms: The only shipping method we utilize for international shipping is USPS International Priority Mail. Other sellers will utilize cheaper shipping methods; however these methods are slower and not as reliable or traceable as USPS International Priority Mail therefore we will NOT utilize them. We will NOT falsify information on customs forms, please do NOT ask. The purchase price of the item(s) purchased will be the amount displayed on the forms. Buyers are responsible for all import and customs fees.

USPS International Priority Mail is often delivered within 7-14 days; however this is not a guaranteed delivery time. If you have not received your item within 30 days please contact us so we can inquire about the package’s location. Our customer service email is noted on the invoice inside your package. Please email that department within 14 days of receiving your item to begin the return process.
If your item is damaged please retain all of the packaging material, original shipping box and the item’s original packaging as the shipping provider may request photos of this material to investigate the damage claim.
If you receive an item which is materially different (ie. the item received is a different color, design or completely different) than what was shown in the eBay listing please contact our customer service department at the email noted on your invoice so we can begin the return process and issue you a full refund once we receive and inspect the item.
If the item is not materially different and you decide you do not want the item you purchased please retain the original packaging as the item MUST be returned to us in the same condition it was shipped. Suzuki has launched a new Limited Edition Swift - the Suzuki Swift SZ-L The SZ-L is designed to offer a more economical option to the usual 1.5 litre lump, and substitutes it with a 1.3 litre, 93bhp engine from the Swift GL, which delivers 0-60mph in 11.0 seconds, 48.7 mpg and CO2 emissions of 140g/km which isn’t actually too shoddy.
