Here for bids is this VSI manufactured by United Instruments, Inc that was recently pulled from a Bellanca Super Viking being parted out. VSI was in good working condition when pulled. 0-3000 FT./MIN MFG. P/N CA-52-1A. Looking through the glass face it appears that there is a crack in the upper part, doesnt appear to effect the unit but it is there. Tesla teases Model S prior to debut

Prior to its world debut on March 26, Tesla has decided to whet the appetites of green-car fans by releasing a teaser image of its upcoming Model S sedan. Under the direction of former Mazda designer Franz von Holzhausen, the Model S features a rounded front nose, a front fender plate with an affixed Tesla emblem and a noticeably shorter hoodline. Unlike the Fisker Karma, the Model S will be powered solely on battery propulsion and do without a range-extending engine, which helps accommodate the shorter hood.

Saab Heritage Museum cars to be auctioned

A Swedish firm named Delphi has released details on its liquidation of the 100-plus cars in the Saab Heritage Museum. Attorneys are taking bids on the collection, as a whole or individually, by mail or fax, with a deadline of Friday, Jan. 20.

Being fat creates an extra tonne of Co2 emissions a year Much as I’m prone to warn against blindly believing the ‘Cars are destroying the Planet’ mantra we hear every day, it’s not me laying the blame at the feet of our chubby readers. The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicines has made the claim, for a variety of reasons, explained by Dr Phil Edwards who said “Walking around in a heavy body is like driving a gas guzzler”. But of course, that needs a little extra explanation to put it in to context.
