So the fact the 6.2 litre V8 under the bonnet of the new Corvette Z06 already manages 465 bhp in naturally aspirated guise, it wasn’t a stretch when the car world was expecting around 625 bhp when Chevrolet finally revealed the power for the Z06. New Citroen Grand C4 Picasso (pictured) price from £19,200 It’s been six months since the new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso was revealed, but Citroen UK has finally got round to putting it on sale and coming up with a price. The seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso starts at £19,200 for the entry-level 1.6 litre 120bhp VTR petrol rising to £27,855 for the all-singing Exclusive+ with the 150bhp 2.0 litre diesel. That’s £1,700 more than the five-seat C4 Picasso.

Alfa MiTo TwinAir arrives

Alfa Romeo has bolted the 875cc TwinAir engine from the Fiat 500 in to the MiTo to produce a congestion charge busting new MiTo. The new Alfa Romeo MiTo TwinAir is a logical move by Alfa to produce a MiTo with green credentials but which still offer a decent drive and a dose of fun. In the Fiat 500, the TwinAir engine is a bit of a hoot, sounding a bit like a cross between a lawnmower and a 2-stroke and with bags of character and lively to boot.
