I bought a used 2003 BMW M3 coupe with 62,000 miles, SMG transmission and stock suspension and I replaced the stock suspension with a coilover system because I wanted to use the car for race track duty.  I am selling the stock suspension parts that were removed during this replacement process.  I don't know if these are all of the stock suspension parts because a tuner did the replacement and these parts are what the tuner gave me.

The stock suspension worked fine before I had it replaced but for obvious reasons (over 62,000 miles of use), I cannot give any representations or warranties about these suspension parts.  They are being sold "as is."

Because of the weight and shape of the parts, this is a local pick up only item.  You must be able and willing to have someone pick up these items from Westchester County, New York.  I will not ship these items.

Mercedes SLS Black Series: The Video

Just a couple of days on from the reveal of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, Mercedes delivers a video of their new Black Series. And the SLS Black probably gets closer to what the McLaren SLR offered than the regular SLS does, although it’s still down on the power of the SLR, and its performance to 62mph is no better and its top speed is 10mph slower. Still, even if it will cost around £200k, it’s still a big chunk cheaper than the SLR was.

Think a sports car makes you more attractive? Think again

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

It’s a favourite stereotype: a man driving a flashy sports car is more attractive to women – or at least, so he might think. Now a survey by Motors.co.uk suggests that exactly the opposite could be true. While the same research reckons 48% of men subscribe to the stereotyped view, in actual fact women are more likely to find a man driving an eco car more alluring.
