Smoking in cars to be banned

MPs in the House of Commons have voted in favour of amendment to the Children and Families Bill, thereby recommending a ban on smoking in cars when there are children present in England. The vote does not force the government to bring such a change into law, but has passed with a substantial majority and the recommendation is seen to have substantial public support. Ferrari adds Apple executive to board

Ferrari has tapped a high-ranking Apple executive responsible for iTunes and the App Store to serve as a new member of its board. Eddy Cue has worked for Apple for 23 years and reports directly to company CEO Tim Cook. He serves as senior vice president of Internet and software activities for the Cupertino, Calif., company.

Jaguar F-Type leaks again – more photos

The 2013 Jaguar F-Type is due to be revealed in two days at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that we have a full set of photos. Last week we had the first leak of a Jaguar F-Type photo (quickly followed by an official version of the same photo from Jaguar), and this morning we have a full set of photos of the new F-Type, courtesy of Teamspeed. What we get this time is the F-Type on the road, and a shot of the F-Type’s interior too – which looks very ‘modern’ Jaguar.
