It's been almost 21 years to the day that Autoweek printed Matt DeLorenzo's column “Off the Line: There's room for fast, fun cars in diet of social responsibility.” And in those two decades plus, not much has changed except the vehicles themselves. For example, sports cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Huayra have astronomically high performance and safety levels; similarly, sport-utility vehicles that haul entire families (and most of their earthly possessions) achieve fuel economy similar to that of 1970s midsize sedans. Nissan Qazana (2010) caught testing

The Nissan Qazana shot testing - complete with what looks like bin-bag disguise I know, it’s not the easiest thing to work out from the picture above, but this is Nissan’s sub Qashqai Crossover – the Nissan Qazana – caught out testing recently. Which goes to show that the Qazana is well on track for amid 2010 launch and production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The Qazana – when it debuted at Geneva this year – was a daring concept, to say the least.

2014 Acura TSX starts at $31,530

The sporty Acura TSX and TSX Sport Wagon return for 2014 with minor changes. The base TSX with a 201-hp I4 comes with a five-speed automatic transmission for $31,530, including destination. That’s a $125 bump from last year.
