Interior Motives Design Awards 2013

Earlier this evening, the world's top designers and automotive journalists gathered together at the Moon13 club in Frankfurt to watch sponsors Ford and Volkswagen reveal the 2013 Interior Motives Student Design of the Year: ‘Audi O Concept' by Nir Siegel, Cherica Haye and Hanchul Lee of London's Royal College of Art. Launched in January of this year and themed ‘The Connected Car', this year's contest attracted hundreds of entries from students spread across every corner of the globe. Ford C-Max Energi qualifies for California tax credits, HOV lane

The 2012 Ford C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid will cost as little as $28,495 in California after $5,250 in tax credits available for buyers. It was also just approved for the high-occupancy vehicle lane in the Golden State. The C-Max Energi is rated for 21 miles on electric power only.

Jeep Grand Cherokee debuts Chrysler V6

The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be the first Chrysler LLC vehicle to feature the company's new Pentastar V6 engine. The new engine greatly simplifies Chrysler's powertrain offerings and helps the company save money by improving economies of scale. The redesigned Grand Cherokee will appear in dealerships in spring 2010 as a 2011 model.
