An Affordable and Effective Deterrent against the Professional Vehicle Theft Ring

In North America, auto theft is a $10 billion "growth industry", enjoying a steady increase year over year. This rise has been met by the development of numerous anti-theft technologies, including alarm systems and special locking devices, all designed to act as a barrier against thieves entering and removing a vehicle.

Vinguard addresses vehicle theft from an entirely different angle.  Vinguard permanently "fingerprints" a vehicle with its own V.I.N. (Vehicle Identification Number) on every window. The only way to remove the V.I.N. is to replace all the vehicle windows before re-sale, at a cost of approximately $2 - 4,000. Therefor Vinguard greatly decreases the opportunity a thief has to gain financially from the crime. In addition to permanently marking all glass surfaces of your vehicle, Vinguard includes a special vehicle identification system. This system has been designed to mark any 10 of the over 500 plastic and/or metal parts of a vehicle. The key to this system is you can select which ones you wish to mark, this makes it impossible for a thief to know which ones you have selected.

"The only way to remove the V.I.N. is to replace the windows, but that is an expensive procedure and increases the time a thief has the stolen vehicle in their possession" says Ian Hamilton, president of Vinguard. "Window etching also makes a vehicle less attractive to a "chop shop" because not only is the glass useless for resale, but if they are caught with the vehicle, or parts of the vehicle, they can be charged as an accomplice to the original crime."

In less than 10 minutes, the do-it-yourself system can be applied to any vehicle. Each Vinguard kit comes with glass etching cream and ten stencils customized with the V.I.N. of your vehicle. After etching the windows, Vinguard customers can rest assured that their vehicle will not be stolen by professional thieves.

Here is a close up that a customer sent us because he was so impressed with the results.  We added the American dime to show you the etch size.  This is the reason we are known as the best:

Takes just 10 minutes to protect your vehicle!

Our customers continually express amazement at both the sharp image and the ease of installation. In fact most people who have seen think that it was installed on the assembly line.

Now we want to show you how easy it will be to use your Proven auto theft protection. Do-It Yourself Kit.

Peel the blue vinyl stencils off the backing sheet. Place the stencils on the outside of each window of your vehicle, with the sticky side against the glass.

Suggested etching locations are; front window, back window, side windows, and vent windows. Dip the applicator into the etching cream and spread lightly over the stencil, covering all the numbers.

After the cream has been applied, leave the stencil on the glass for three to five minutes. Then one at a time using plenty of water, wash the cream off and remove the stencil.. Place the security decals on the inside of the driver's and passenger's side windows. And your vehicle will be protected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for life.

BONUS: In addition to marking all the windows of your vehicle, our kit includes a special vehicle identification system. This system has been designed to mark any 6 painted body panel parts of your vehicle. The key to this system is you can select which ones you wish to mark, this makes it impossible for a thief to know which ones you have selected.  If the labels are removed an ULTRA VIOLET FINGERPRINT is left embedded in the body panel paint.  Like in CSI the UV Vinprint is traceable by Police.

Abner Doble built his first steam car while he was still in high school, and by 1915 the Doble Detroit had set new standards of reliability, convenience, noiselessness, and speed -- in 1925, Howard Hughes drove Leno's Model E to 132 mph. -- Los Angeles, car culture capital of the world, has its fair share of hipsters, eccentrics, airheads and Chrysler LeBarons.
