Sun, 20 Oct 2013New Mercedes S Class (pictured) garners 30,000 orders in first 3 months The last Mercedes S Class was with us for getting on for a decade, so it’s no surprise, with a new S Class in the offing, Mercedes ended up cutting S Class production in 2012. But now the new 2014 Mercedes S Class has arrived, and orders are starting to flood in. Mercedes are reporting that in the first three months on sale the new S Class has received more than 30,000 orders, compared to a total of 65,000 orders for the previous S Class in its last year.
Walter de'Silva awarded medal for special services to Bavaria

Volkswagen's head of group design was told in a letter from the Bavarian state minister of Federal and European Affairs Emilia Müller that he had "changed the form language and design culture of Germany as a vehicle designer," going on to praise his "outstanding achievement with the world-class company Audi". Single-seat Colibri electric vehicle set for 2015 launch
Thu, 13 Mar 2014If the 2014 Geneva Motor Show heralded the dawn of a new age of small cars, then the tiny Innovative Mobility Automobile (IMA) Colibri is well placed to take advantage of this new era. The Colibri – which means hummingbird – is a small, single-seat, three-door electric vehicle that’s set to go on sale later this year. Prices for the entry-level Colibri are set to fall well below €10,000 (£8,340) plus battery rental charges, meaning it could go head-to-head with the likes of the new Citroen C1, Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo.
