Mercedes SLK (2011/2012) ‘Magic Roof’ Spy Photos

Sat, 30 Oct 2010

The Mercedes SLK Magic Roof 'Official' Spy Photo Regular readers may remember that in the run-up to the reveal of the Mercedes SLS we had ‘official’ spy photos – and even an official ‘spy’ video – of the Mercedes SLS. Which Mercedes obviously felt played well with the Interweb and our lust for news as they’re at it again with the 2011 / 2012 Mercedes SLK. It won’t be just a battery-powered Auris on show, however.

Spy photos: BMW i8 hits Swedish test track

The test car pictured is a preproduction model rather than a concept BMW i8, similar to what should appear in 2013. As reported earlier, we’re expecting BMW’s 2014 i8 hybrid coupe to get a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine--essentially the same unit earmarked to head into the next-generation Mini and the front-wheel-drive BMW 1-series due out in 2014.
