A vintage 1958 Johnson 35HP Seahorse Outboard Motor Cowl. Measures roughly 28" X10"X10".  I had this listed as a 56 era cowl but a knowledgeable Ebayer wrote me and let me know it was a 58 (which was the only year it came in this color). Thanks, Knowledgeable Ebayer!

DESCRIPTION:
Cowl is in great shape for it's age though it shows wear.  Latches are intact and working—opens and closes fine. One of the posts on the inside is missing its cap.

NOTE: The cowl will need to be cleaned up. No cleaning was done to it. It is in the condition it was acquired in and is sold as such.

Cowl is ready for your restoration project or would make an excellent curio for your bar, office, den, or any nautical/maritime themed room. With some research and elbow grease it could be brought back to it's former splendor or leave as is for that weathered, antique look.

I will combine shipping. If you purchase more than one item you'll save a killing on postal fees. At auctions end you'll receive an adjusted invoice for all the items you've won. The faster I am payed the quicker I can ship...same day at auction end payments usually allow me to ship the following day.

International Buyers ARE WELCOME! I do my best to get you the cheapest shipping prices possible.

Check out my other auctions for more cool stuff.

Have a question? Write me and I'll get back to you ASAP! I am the Great Communicator!

Please Note: I try to be as accurate in my descriptions as possible with a lot of pictures so
you can bid with confidence on your chosen auction. The very few times there have been
problems I have worked with the purchaser to come to an agreement that was satisfactory to both parties. So please read,
look at the pictures, and when in any doubt, write me for clarifications, before bidding. If for some reason
you are not satisfied upon receiving your item, contact me first before leaving feed back, I will do what I
can to put the smile back on your face.

Car sales rise as shutdown ends

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

DETROIT -- Combined U.S. sales by the Detroit 3 rose 14 percent last month, helped by strong demand for sedans and pickups and an increase in showroom traffic after the partial government shutdown ended. General Motors reported a 16 percent gain after losing market share in August and September.

BMW X3 xDrive20d SE (2011) Review & Road Test

Mon, 14 Mar 2011

BMW X3 Review & Road Test If you’re going to pontificate on a subject – in this case, pen a BMW X3 Review – it’s probably best to declare any prejudices and preconceptions up-front. So before starting to deliberate on BMW’s new X3 – in this case the entry-level BMW X3 xDrive20d SE – I need to declare that firstly, unlike many who review cars for a living, I ‘get’ the whole softroader thing. And secondly, I thought the original BMW X3 was truly awful.
