“I was able to bench test this radio and it plays quite nicely. The tuning dial also functions well as do the push buttons to reposition the dial setting. The only thing that I was not able to do was change the settings of the push buttons. The buttons pull out, but I was not able to change the actual setting…maybe there is something different about the way these are set. As can be seen in the pictures that I have included, the radio is very clean. The bezel and glass are not cracked or broken and are in very nice condition. The chrome areas on these are also in very nice shape.”

This auction is for a USED vintage 1967 Mercury Bendix 12V AM Push Button Radio Model #7TBM 106684 WITH the knobs.  This is listed as fitting the full size Mercury’s including the Monterey, Montclair, Park Lane or Marquis.  I was able to bench test this radio and it plays quite nicely.  The tuning dial also functions well as do the push buttons to reposition the dial setting.  The only thing that I was not able to do was change the settings of the push buttons.  The buttons pull out, but I was not able to change the actual setting…maybe there is something different about the way these are set.  As can be seen in the pictures that I have included, the radio is very clean.  The bezel and glass are not cracked or broken and are in very nice condition.  The chrome areas on these are also in very nice shape.   Also seen in one of the pictures is the identification stamp which includes the following information:

It will begin winding down the Saab operation immediately. There had been a glimmer hope for Saab earlier this month, as supercar maker Spyker stepped in as a possible suitor after similarly small sports car specialist Koenigsegg walked away from a potential deal in November 2009.But GM admitted it could not viably sell Saab to Spyker – and no other bidders were forthcoming.

Honda recalls 310,773 Pilots for seatbelt issue

Honda is recalling 310,773 copies of the Pilot SUV to fix a problem that could make the driver's or passenger's seatbelts unreliable in a crash. Honda says a manufacturing error with the belts could mean that stitching on some of the models is incomplete where the lap section is connected to the outer anchor, which could cause the belt components to disconnect in an accident. The recall affects 2009- to 2011-model-year Pilots.
