Listed for sale is a vintage Guide Glare Proof inside rearview mirror.  This is an 8 inch mirror with a metal housing.  It has a black rubber border around the mirror glass and a lever to switch from day to night driving.   This is designed to mount to a metal pad on the windshield and has a set screw to secure it when in place.  This has Guide Glare Proof stamped into the metal housing on one side and Made in USA on the other side. The mirror glass is still in very good condition and the swivel head is still tight. The paint on the housing is worn from age and use but overall looks good for its age.

I always try to accurately describe the items that I list but this is an old part so please look closely at the photos and ask any questions that you may have before the listing ends. There are no gurantees or warranty as to the condition or suitabilty for your intended use.

Why the BMW M4 is better than the M3 V8 (2013)

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

It’s no exaggeration to say that the turbocharged engine in the upcoming BMW M3 (saloon) and M4 (coupe) models is one of the most important engines ever produced by BMW’s M Division. No, it’s not the first turbo lump the performance off-shoot has built – you'll probably know we’ve already had the X5/X6M mutants plus the brilliant 1M and M5 and M6 – but it is the first turbo ever to slot in a production M3, the car that personifies BMW’s iconic performance sub brand, which itself has always been defined by high-revving, naturally aspirated engines. All of this explains why M’s engineers have cut their teeth on other engines first before plucking up the courage to develop the M3/M4 turbo while turning their backs on the outgoing E92 M3’s exceptional V8.

Wed, 19 May 2010

The Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 HSE It was always something of a paradox, the original Land Rover Freelander. On paper it seemed to be all the car you could need. An iconic badge strapped to a real 4×4 of a sensible size that could cope with the urban jungle and had almost as much off-road ability as its brethren.

Porsche Panamera

Porsche today revealed the first official photos of its new four-door grand touring sports car, roughly nine months before its scheduled market launch. Joining the 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars as well as the sporty Cayenne SUV, the Panamera is Porsche's fourth model series. The designers of the Panamera sought to position their latest offering as a brand-new and truly different model while retaining the defining Porsche look.
