New Old Stock item in nice condition but without original package. Tested in hot water and opens up as it should .

This vintage coolant thermostat is unused item
found in old closed part store inventory.
No longer in original package but very nice.
This is intended to mount in radiator hose and 
has adjustment knob marked ;
Low , High , Alcohol and is not stuck.
Set on what seems to be medium setting I placed 
the unit in water with thermometer and heated it .
Butterfly began to open around 150 and at 170 was full open.
The outlet or top side pipe is 1-3/16"
The bottom or inlet with heat sensing bellows is the same.
both O.D. measurements. There is a bypass tube on the side that is 3/4" O.D. and 3/8" pipe thread inside .
The overall length is 3-1/2" long .
I am not sure about brand but suspect Bridgeport as 
most of the rest in this lot were that brand.

Audi RS5 engine confirmed, plus RS5 cabrio

We had previously reported the RS5 would use a twin-turbo iteration of this engine, but a senior source has told us it will not feature forced induction. We’re told it’s the same high-revving engine that powered the outgoing RS4, albeit spruced up with the latest Ingolstadt know-how.

Aspid Cars teases sports car to join open-wheeler

Spanish automaker Aspid Cars informed us last Tuesday that it will be unveiling a sports car to complement its open-wheel track car. The company didn't tell us much aside from saying that the car will be bigger than its first car, that it will be extremely lightweight and that it will offer multiple powertrain options, including a V8 and a KERS-like hybrid system. The company also made sure to note that its name is no longer IFR Aspid.
