Vintage Amp Dash Meter Hot Rod Rat Rod Or Old Car on 2040-parts.com
South Lebanon, Ohio, US
This auction is for what appears to be a really old AMP meter. I have no idea what type of car this came off of (found this at an estate sale), but it appears to be in good condition (the glass is in great shape) and there are 2 posts on the back for hooking up. I've heard that these are used on rat rods.

Bridgestone reinvents the wheel
Wed, 11 Dec 2013THE WHEEL is being reinvented with the development of an airless tyre for cars that could put an end to punctures and be kinder to the environment. Currently being developed by Bridgestone, the Air-Free Concept Tyre has an exterior tread that looks normal but inside there are plastic spokes that support the outer casing. This does away with the need to pump up the tyres, which means a puncture is no longer a problem as the tyre cannot deflate.

Last week we reported on the doom and gloom in car manufacturing and sales in Europe with sales of mainstream cars falling away and troubled economies – like Italy and France – recording drops of 20 per cent in sales during February. Hyundai heading for more dual clutch gearboxes instead of CVT
Wed, 31 Oct 2012Hyundai are planning to offer more dual clutch gearboxes in their cars rather than going the CVT route. There’s an argument that somehow CVT gearboxes offer better fuel economy than an automated dual clutch ‘box, even though logic says otherwise. Toyota insist on using a CVT ‘box on their hybrid cars when they’d feel much better to drive with an auto or dual clutch ‘box.
