Here is a solid brass carburetor from the 1920s marked SCHEBLER  INDIANAPOLOLIS, IND. No model marked. The bolt hole is 5/8" and the air intake opening is 1 1/4". I measured inner rim to inner rim vs. outer edges The center to center distance of the bolts that hold on the "elbow" looking air intake section on the top of the carb is about 2 3/4".  No other information available but email me if you have any questions.

Another ebayer stated "It's a model D Schebler carb, they were used on stationary engines and some motorcycles during the 1910 to 1925 period. They were also very big in the marine engines too. Once its turned right side up, the configuration yours is in is a marine configuration, if the little bulbous intake was on the side pointing up, it would have gone on a land vehicle or a stationary engine of some sort between the dates I mentioned, maybe even a little bit earlier than 1910, like 1905-ish."

Brabus GLK V12 at Dubai

Sat, 12 Dec 2009

The 750bhp Brabus GLK V12 I hold my hand up and say I am a fan of quick SUVs. It may seem a bit of an oxymoron, but some SUVs – like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo – do a very good job of being all things. Fun sports car; load carrier; junk mover and just about anything else you want.

It’s unknown whether the candidate actually passed her driving theory test at the 110th attempt. Reported by the Daily Mirror, the figures released under a Freedom of Information Act request to the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA) stand as a new record for failing the first section of the UK’s two-part driving test.

Galpin to debut 1,000-hp supercar at Pebble Beach

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

Evidently, somebody at Galpin Auto Sports took a look at the dearly missed Ford GT -- there must have been one in their showroom -- and muttered out loud, "You know, this car just isn't rare or powerful enough." At that point, milk shot out of the nostrils of a bystander who had been standing within earshot. Seriously, 550 hp isn't cool. You know what's cool?
