Up for bid is a very beautiful vintage Briscoe crown cap with a wooden mounting base.
This particular cap weighs 1 LB. 2 OZ. The top measures approximately 3 21/32" across in diameter. The threaded part underneath measures approximately 2 29/32" across in diameter with 20 threads per inch.
Note: This comes with a beautiful wooden mounting base which weighs almost 1 LB. just by itself. If you don't want the mounting base, the shipping will be less.
Application: This is for Briscoe cars. I'm not sure of the exact years. The mounting base that came with it suggests years 1915-1921, but I'm not sure. Please do your own research.
Condition: This is in very good condition. The surface feels smooth overall. There is a touch of roughness on the side and a few small dings. The threads underneath look great!
