Here is a CHEVROLET PASSENGER CAR SHOP MANUAL for 1949-53 Models. Original price was $1.50. This is a great book for Chevrolet repair. The book measures 8 1/2" x 11", is about 1" thick, with 480 pages and an additional 30 page 1954 Supplement. 12 Sections cover body and frame, suspension, axles and springs, brakes, engine, transmission, fuel system, steering, wheels, electrical, and sheet metal. Many diagrams and illustrations, a few in color. This manual is a must for anyone working on a classic Chevrolet!

As you can see the outside of the book has greasy fingerprints and a few little tears. The first few pages are dog eared and a tear on the title page has been taped. The good news is the binding is good, and except for a few notes on the inside cover the text and pictures are all in good condition for its age. The pages are clean and free of fingerprints. Did not see any extra marks except one paragraph that was circled (did not interfere with the text).  Please view pictures. Easy to read and very usable.

The biggest success by far has been the 360/430, which easily accounts for the lion’s share of the sales.

Jaguar Land Rover sales drive Tata Motors’ profit

Tue, 14 Feb 2012

JLR strong sales drive Tata Motors profits Jaguar Land Rover sales rose 41 per cent in the last quarter to £3.75 billion with profits of £440 million, propping up Tata’s domestic decline. When Tata bought Jaguar Land Rover from Ford back in 2008 for $2.3 billion it offered promise for the future, but most analysts thought Tata had made a big mistake buying JLR for so much, just as the world economy started to slip ion to the near depression we’re still fighting. But the analysts were wrong.
