You are bidding on an Audiovox brand car or truck FM radio converter.  Model number is FMC-1C.   This works in conjunction with your existing AM radio to allow FM reception as well.  It mounts under the dash or in the glove box compartment.  It hooks to power and the antenna lead connects to your AM radio.  It is recommended to use an in-line fuse when connecting to power.  The car's antenna plugs into the converter.  This has been tested and does work quite well.  The dial light is also in working order.  The car radio needs to be tuned to around 1400 and then the FM converter will work.  The unit is in very nice cosmetic shape.  Chrome has a nice shine with just some very light scratches.  The converter looks better than the pictures may suggest.  Mounting bracket is included.  You will need the other half of the fuse holder and a fuse as it is missing.   PayPal accepted.  You can contact me for other payment methods.  Please add $6.95 postage to winning bid for US shipments.  International bidders welcome.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!  This is a NO RESERVE auction so bid to win!

Road management proposals 'could save millions'

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

£2.6 MILLION IN TAXES could be saved over the next decade by reforming how roads are managed, the Department for Transport has said. Roads Minister Robert Goodwill unveiled a consultation on turning the Highways Agency into a Government-owned company. In a statement to MPs, Mr Goodwill said the reforms would mean the creation of a "road user watchdog" similar to Passenger Focus on the railways.

Lotus planning Electric Car

Sat, 03 Jan 2009

I suppose it was inevitable that Lotus would not settle for simply supplying Tesla with the chassis for their electric car, and would look to jump on the bandwagon of electric cars (EV). Lotus CEO, Michael Kimberly, has told the Financial Times that Lotus is planning an electric car “sooner rather than later”, and went on to say that it will be an extended range battery vehicle. Extended range EVs (like the Chevy Volt) are probably the best option for a mainstream car at the moment, at least until you can buy hydrogen at the pumps other than in California.

2009 Mazda 3 Review

Sat, 11 Apr 2009

Cars UK [rating:4.0] The new Mazda 3 arrives in UK Car Showrooms in May Still based on the Ford Focus platform, the Mazda 3 has taken on a chunk of design cues from the RX-8 and has, in our eyes, become probably the best looking car in its class. With its new, stiffened structure, the Mazda 3 promises to be a cracking drive, and Mazda has managed to improve fuel economy by 15% and reduce emissions by nearly 20% thanks to stop/start and terrific aerodynamics. But is all this enough to dethrone the Focus?
