Vintage General Quick-aid Brass Fire Extinguisher *chris-craft 1949-52* on 2040-parts.com
Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
This is an empty vintage brass fire extinguisher made
by the General Fire Extinguisher Co. and it is model 85HD. It is the 1
qt. size and is about 14" long and comes with it's original mounting
bracket which has a new coat of maroon paint. It has been polished
and lacquered and as you can see in the pictures, it displays very
well. Someone did a lot of work on the website "vintagefe" and that
site states that General fire extinguishers were featured in Chris-Craft
accessories from 1937 to 1960. This would be the correct extinguisher
for a 1949 - 1952 Chris-Craft boat. The extinguisher has NO dents and NO
dings. The T pump handle moves in and out as designed. The brass label retains nearly
all of it's original paint. The would make a great addition to a
collection or mounted on a vintage boat, car, or truck. Please check
out my other vintage fire extinguishers I have listed.

Mercedes S-class coupe (2014) first official pictures
Tue, 11 Feb 2014By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 11 February 2014 10:00 Let’s concentrate on the bits of the new Mercedes S-class coupe which aren’t shared with its four-door saloon sister. Naturally, the replacement for the CL uses the same engines as the saloon, and carries over the same stunning dashboard inside. Yet there are more differences than just the door count here… Of most interest to keen drivers is the revised Magic Body Control suspension.
Peugeot RCZ Red Carbon Limited Edition launches – price from £26,000
Thu, 08 May 2014Peugeot RCZ Red Carbon Limited Edition (pictured) All the column inches (or whatever the digital equivalent is) for Peugeot’s RCZ since last year have been about the more powerful RCZ R. But that’s no surprise when it comes with a very agreeable 270bhp to play with – enough to push the RCZ R to 62mph in 5.9 seconds – good looks and decent economy. But Peugeot has a whole selection of RCZs lurking below the R, so as it’s obviously time to garner some attention for the R’s lesser siblings we get a limited edition RCZ to bump up sales and footfall in Peugeot showrooms – the Peugeot RCZ Red Carbon Limited Edition.
Overfinch reveals bespoke 2014 Range Rover
Tue, 24 Dec 2013The debut of the long-wheelbase Range Rover a month ago raised the bar when it comes to SUVs acting as chauffeured limousines, even if the model was arguably a few years late to the market's demands. When coupled with the Autobiography Black trim, the long-wheelbase Range Rover didn't quite turn into a conference room on wheels, but it did do a good impression of first-class airline seating. If that model is meant to be a chauffeured limousine more than anything else, the standard-wheelbase Range Rover is still the ticket if you want to take the wheel yourself.
