The best way to clean is to peel preservitive and wipe clean with clean cloth. These plug were preserved in  the 40s  and I do not remove the preservative. They will be shipped as seen in the pics. I have removed the preservative on a couple of these plugs and they are in great shape, looked like new. I'd say the preservation did its job..   Thanks for looking.  Postage is $ 5.80 USA ,        All other countries (  $ 14 to $17 first class international ).          I will combine auctions when possible to save on postage.  Thanks for looking

Land Rover: A year of Range Rover Evoque production and 80,000 sales

Thu, 05 Jul 2012

Land Rover is celebrating a year of Range Rover Evoque production and sales of 80,000 Evoques. The Range Rover Evoque continues to astonish with its sales performance and a seemingly unquenchable thirst from buyers to grab as many as Land Rover can build, despite its distinctly premium price structure. But that’s because Land Rover has managed to be right on the Zeitgeist with the Evoque, which conspires to offer a properly premium feel in a smaller package with no loss of ability compared to the full size Range Rover, so even car buyers with deep pockets can feel they’re being sane when they scratch their car buying itch and yet have no real compromise in ability or image.

Flemke's McLaren F1 on video Perhaps the best-know McLaren F1 in the UK – well, perhaps the best known apart from Rowan Atkinson’s recently bent F1 – is the F1 owned by regular online commenter ‘Flemke’. Flemke is, as you would expect, worth a few bob and lives in the UK. But unlike the vast majority of McLaren F1 owners he loves to share the joy of his Mac with online enthusiasts.

Survey Reveals Car Use Slump Despite Lower Petrol Prices

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

USUALLY the news that petrol prices are down would be cause for celebration, but the latest AA/Populus survey reveals that car use is also on the slide. Despite more wallet-friendly prices at the pumps the situation is failing to kick-start more car use. The poll of more than 18,000 AA members, conducted in June, revealed that just 7% were more relaxed about prices at the pumps, and were using their car more than a year ago.
