You are bidding on a Vintage Kaiser Frazer 1952 - 1953 #214023 Left Vent Window & Frame NOS MIB OEM. This window assembly was still sealed in it's box at an auction I attended recently. The auctioneer opened the box and since I acquired this item, the box is literally disintegrating. The date on the invoice on this box which is shown in my last picture is January 23, 1956. I rated this item as~~New other~~because the box is not factory fresh and it has been opened.

Quite amazing that all of the rubber is still factory fresh with no dry rot. As my 9th picture shows, the felt in the channel on the bottom is pristine. The glass by Duolite has no issues, I did wash the glass to remove the dust. The chrome does need to be shined. When I first looked at this window vent when I got it home, the finish on the latch looked like it had spider veins. I took a cloth with water on it and started to wipe the latch. Found out, the spider veins started to disappear. All of the chrome and other surfaces do need cleaned though there is NO rust. The latch works with ease as well as the window pivot.

Thank you for viewing this item. Free shipping is for the Continental United States only, insurance is included. I will send the disintegrated box and carefully pack this window vent within a larger box with styrofoam sheets to secure the package.

Subaru Canada reveals ‘Driving Confidence’ contest winners

Fri, 17 Feb 2012

Subaru Canada has revealed the top three designs from its ‘Driving Confidence' competition. The Canadian division of the company collaborated with the artist web site deviantART and called for "original creations that celebrate the bold design, superior handling, and meticulous engineering that Subaru vehicles are renowned for." The challenge asked for competitors to push their creativity "to the limit", which many of them did with some impressively-abstract designs. The winner won $2,500 for "Born to Rally in the Snow," the second place received $1,000 for "Unleash the Beast," while third place was awarded $500 for "Subaru Slot Car Set." The runner-up was "Subaru Impreza WRC Rally 'The Pass 2'." All of the submissions are being displayed at Subaru's booth at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto and in the gallery above.
