The Race of Champions Returns To Wembley

The battle to decide the world’s fastest motorsport star returns again to Wembley Stadium on the 14th December – and the seven-time F1 champ has already signed up. Covered in almost 2000 tonnes of tarmac, the pitch will once be transformed into a bespoke circuit which will see the cream of the motorsport world go head-to-head on equal terms and in identical cars.

Coventry University degree show 2009

Students graduating in automotive, transport and product design from Coventry University in 2009 displayed an exceptionally wide variety of final projects. From hydrogen-powered supercars to electric commuters, eco awareness was a clear theme, with imaginative use of new materials and technologies. Strong interest was evident in all forms of transport - from folding bicycles and ingenious wheelchairs to ocean-crossing ekranoplan aircraft and extravagant super-yachts for the very wealthy.

Italian Supercar makers didn't dissapoint at Frankfurt, with new offerings from Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati Fotunately for those of us who love cars, the Italians would prefer to ignore whats going on in the world and instead concetrate on bringing four wheeled gourgousness to the car world. And we had new cars from the big three Italian Supercar makers – Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Lamborghini brought us the most extreme – the very limited edition Reventon Roadster.
