Since 1981, Dan's Classic Auto Parts has kept in stock the best parts for your Chevrolet and/or other GM vehicles.
From NOS, New and Used, here at Dan's Classic Auto Parts we strive to help with your project.

Now here is a really neat piece.  It is a RARE Oldsmobile Car Watch.

Oldsmobile had offered a Swiss made MAAR unit that mounted below center on a specially designed steering wheel and a special horn ring. This was available from 1951-52 and operated much the same way as the early Benrus, with one major difference the winding mechanism on the Maar unit worked with forward and back movements also (acceleration and braking) along with rotation of the steering wheel. The winding mechanisms also had small plastic windows were the operation of the unit could be viewed. This caused the clock to be fairly deep and a special turn signal arm was needed to clear the back of the unit when steering. Part of the steering wheel package was a dash mounted compass that went into the hole were the dash clock was.

This Car Watch has a crazed face on it and as you can see by the pictures is only apparent when the watch is looked at from and angle.

The housing has some where from where the watch rested in the holder on the steering wheel.

But the chrome is pit free and as a bonus- THE WATCH WORKS!

Weather you are working on a ground up restoration car, repairing a low mileage driver,
or just in need of a perfect piece for your pride and joy, this is the part for you.

We have a large inventory of NOS and Used items and will be updating our auction page so book mark us and stay tuned!

New Mercedes GLA teased on video

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Thye new Mercedes GLA (pictured) teased on video ahead of Frankfurt It was only last week we revealed that the latest iteration of the new Mercedes A-Class – the Mercedes GLA Compact SUV – would be making its debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show in production guise. And now Mercedes are starting the tease. They kicked of late yesterday with a sketch of the new GLA, but as we’ve already seen the concept at Geneva, and designers sketches are not exactly the most reliable interpretation of the reality, we didn’t see much point in republishing them (you can see them on Mercedes Facebook page).
