These are 8 vintage keys for a car I used to own, a 1963 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL European version. The ignition key is the original German steel Neiman key. Another key is a Ymos, and I believe that key is also original. The rest are keys that came with the car when I bought it in 1980. I do not believe they are original, but am not sure. I believe the Yale key was for the glove box. The rest are stamped, PD for passenger door, (2 of these), DD for driver's door, (2 of these), and GDD for the gas cap, (2 of these). These might be just what you need for your collection. Thanks for looking!

And to help its cause, the VW Jetta no longer shares any body panels with the Golf, so the bold claim being made is that this new model is ‘just as independent as a CC or a Tiguan’. There are indeed strong family ties, and underneath the new Jetta is ultimately a Mk6 Golf.

McLaren X-1 - rebodied MP4-12C supercar (2012)

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

Sometimes, the best just isn’t good enough. That’s why a wealthy anonymous car collector – garage already full of McLaren F1, McLaren Mercedes SLR and MP4-12C, and goodness knows how many fabulous non-McLarens – thought he’d like to produce his very own one-off supercar. The new McLaren X-1, which makes its debut at The Quail, part of the Pebble Beach weekend, is the result.
