From a grouping of vintage boat parts I found at an estate sale. This auction is for 5 shiny brass lift handles. I have a packing slip from the purchase dated 1958. There are 4 matching lift handles and one different style. Large measure 2 1/2" x 3" and the smaller one is about 2" x 2 1/2".

The facelift for the 2012 Renault Twingo is not the most comprehensive overhaul you’ll eve see in a car, consisting mainly of a new nose reflecting more current Renault design, a tiny tweak round the back and a few new colour options. But then the 2012 Twingo is really just a stop-gap until a SMART-based Twingo arrives – probably in 2013 – and as such does its job; making the Twingo look a bit fresher.

VW showed a ‘Concept’ of the Mk VI Golf GTI at last year’s Paris Motor Show but, as we expected, it wasn’t even thinly disguised – it’s pretty much as shown! Just like its siblings, the new GTI is really an evolutionary car rather than a revolutionary one.

We had BMW’s Vision Concept and the first outing for an Audi e-tron (is that really only six months ago?), but we also had the introduction of the smallest engine Audi have ever stuck in a car – the 1.2 TFSI. It may be the smallest engine, but it’s not the least powerful thanks to the turbo.
