What I have up for bids here is a good used vintage steel gas tank and clamps assembly that we just got in with a vintage go kart and minibike parts lot we bought out.. Tank would be perfect for the guy who is fixing up that vintage go kart or minibike and who is looking for a model correct tank or maybe for the guy who just needs period correct tank for a build. Either way I think you will find this gas tank and mounts to be an awesome buy and find at our no reserve opening bid of just $17.99 with no reserve. Now heres what you will get,
(1) Vintage Power Products/Tecumseh go kart/minibike steel gas tank assembly as shown below and above. Tank is approximately 10 5/8" long, 6 1/2" wide and 6" high to the top of the cap. Tank has no holes, repairs or dents. Some average paint and cosmetic wear here and there. Tank is also clean inside and out. As noted above we got this tank in with a lot of vintage go kart/minibike we purchased. This tank had a tag on it marked "Power Products/Tecumseh" so I assume it fits that engine/application, but this tank would also work out great in a ton of vintage or modern applications including a go karts, minibike, mini chopper, junior dragster, mini pulling tractor, bar stool racer,, etc. If you have been looking for a good used vintage gas tank for a Power Products/Tecumseh engine or for a project or build, I think you will find this tank to be a great buy and find. . Wed, 10 Sep 2014The new BMW 2 Series Convertible arrives – and there’s an M235i version too As BMW changes its nomenclature, the BMW 2 Series Convertible arrives as a replacement for the old 1-Series Convertible and becomes the third BMW in the 2-Series range, joining the 2 Series Coupe and the FWD 2-Series Active Tourer. Due to go on sale in February 2015, the new 2-Series Convertible is looking to build on the success of the old 1-Series Convertible with a wide range of specs and powerplants – from the 220i and 220d to the range-topping M235i – and prices starting from £29,180 for the 220i Convertible rising to £37,710 for the M235i Convertible. Four power plants will be available in the 2-Series Convertible, with the 220i getting 184bhp, 228i with 245bhp, 220d with 190bhp and the range-topping M235i Convertible gets 326bhp.
Hyundai beefs up its WRC team
Wed, 10 Apr 2013Hyundai revealed last year that they’re preparing to take on the World Rally Championship (WRC) from 2014 when a rally car based on the i20 will take to the world rally stage to cast some sport fairy dust on Hyundai’s showroom cars. At that time we had little information about the team, but in January we learnt that Hyundai had appointed Michel Nandan to head up their WRC efforts, a good move as Nandon was the technical director for the Peugeot WRC team until 2005, so he knows his stuff. Now we learn that Hyundai is beefing up its WRC team as it prepares for a full season of WRC in 2014.
