Up for auction is a vintage RC Allen Instruments Indicator Directional Gyro, model # RCA11A-8 Input 4.5 Inch Hg recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia, PA area. It is found in what appears as good used condition. I have no way to test such a item so it is offered "as found", without any warranty. It carries a February 12, 1997 date stamped on the side. The only condition issue to discus is that there appears to be moisture under the glass. An unusual collectible. Ford lowers Sync price
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Ford is cutting the price of its Sync software, the company said on Monday. The price will drop from $395 to $295, and Sync will be available on base trim levels for the first time. The new pricing rolls out on the 2012 Ford Explorer and Ford Edge base models.

Metros leaves his current role as design director of Ford Asia Pacific in the company's Melbourne studio in Australia, where his team led the Everest, Falcon and Ranger programs. During Ford's PAG (Premier Auto Group) era, the CCS graduate was the first American designer to work in the Jaguar design studio in the UK before returning to America to lead the interior and exterior design themes of the 2004 Ford F-150.
Koenigsegg Agera S Hundra: Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 05 Mar 2013The 100th car of Koenigsegg’s history has been revealed at the Geneva Motor Show – the Koenigsegg Hundra – a one-off Agera S. Now the Koenigsegg Hundra (Hundra means 100th in Swedish) has been unveiled on the floor at Geneva, representing 4000 man hours of effort by Koenigsegg to make their 100th car special. Costing the deep-pocketed Hong Kong customer a hefty $1.6 million (half the price of the Lamborghini Veneno) the Hundra is based on the Agera S – 1016bhp and 811lb/ft of torque, 1400kg, 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds – and sports a naked carbon fibre body with gold leaf highlights.
