George Formby's Rolls Royce goes to auction
Tue, 12 Nov 2013A CLASSIC 1950 Rolls-Royce originally owned by British comedian and film star George Formby is up for grabs at auction on 30 November. The 1950 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith was on display at that year’s Earls Court Motor Show and caught Formby’s eye, so he bought it there and then. Formby was a big customer for Rolls-Royce and owned 26 of the British luxury cars during his lifetime.
Lamborghini Aventador
Tue, 15 Mar 2011A clear evolution of both the Murcielago and the Reventon, the Aventador dissapointed and wowed in equal measure at its unveiling. Showcasing Lamborghini's newfound love for carbon fiber as well as an exhaustive list of new technologies for their road cars – such as a pushrod suspension – the Aventador certainly has a supercar-style spec sheet. The V12 engine used in the Aventador is also all-new and when combined with the lightweight carbon monocoque chassis is claimed to provide blistering performance, albeit in an unrevolutionary body. More images of the Aventador, as well as the opinion of Chris Bangle, can be found through the links: Photo Gallery: Lamborghini Aventador Video: Chris Bangle on Supercars
Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet: Official
Mon, 15 Nov 2010The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet - the world's first soft-top SUV You had plenty of notice. We told you in April that Nissan were building a Murano convertible, and in August we told you that we had confirmation from the horse’s mouth that the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet was going to happen, and that the LA Motor Show was where we’d get to see the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet for ourselves. And they weren’t telling porkies.
