Some signs of age from sitting on shelf for a couple decades
Brand:unknown Manufacturer Part Number:unknown

This armature was in a box of miscellaneous NOS snowmobile parts which I acquired several years ago and was not in a bag and did not have a parts label on it so I am not sure what sled it is for. I believe it is new/unused but it did show some signs of surface rust from sitting around forever. I used some very fine sandpaper and crocus cloth to clean the shaft and the commutator up a little. The total shaft length is about 8 1/4". The long end of the shaft is 3 7/8" from the tip of the shaft measured back to the beginning point of the spiral cut. The spiral length is about 1 1/2". The spiral OD is 15 mm, the OD on the long end is 12mm until the very end where it is 10 mm. The opposite end of the shaft is 10 mm OD. The commutator OD is 32.85 mm and the armature OD is 51.9 mm OD. The box this was found in contained mainly Skiroule snowmobile parts and since they used primarily Sachs and Kohler engines, I suspect this armature may be for a Sachs or a Kohler

Nissan Juke-R is one step closer with seats and dashboard: Video

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Seat fitting and ergonomics aren't the most fun part of a custom job, but they're plenty important. For instance, in the sixth installment of the Nissan Juke-R conversion, the guys from Nissan are putting in FIA-approved seats, a dash panel, steering wheel and pedals. The process involved finding a good driving position, which is one of the main feedback points for the driver.
