The Alpina B5 BiTurbo Touring We haven’t even had the 2012 BMW M5 launch yet, never mind thinking about the Touring. Although it would seem that BMW has no intention of making a touring version of the 2012 M5. Not that BMW are exactly reliable when it comes to M-Car denials.

Bentley SUV will be the Bentley Falcon

It looks like Bentley has come up with a name for its SUV – Bentley Falcon - and, as expected, it will get a complete redesign before it arrives. But it now seems that VW has bitten the bullet on the Bentley SUV and signed it off for production, when it will apparently come complete with a new Bentley name – Bentley Falcon. The news of a name for Bentley’s luxury off-roader comes from Georg Kacher writing in Automobile Magazine and, although it perhaps doesn’t resonate particularly in the UK, it will probably have more impact on the target market for the SUV – the Middle East – where the Falcon is a big deal.

THE CITROEN C1 supermini was the most reliable new car of 2014, with an impressive reliability rating of 99.3% for the first three years, according to a Which? survey. BMW and Toyota were the best manufacturers, while the Hyundai iX20 diesel was the least reliable car up to three years old, with a score of 75.2%.
