1 VINTAGE FORD THUNDERBIRD REAR/BACK BUMPER RING 64-65-66 1964-1965-1966.  Item is in good usable condition with some minor blemishes from use.  Not perfect but very good candidate for easy restoration. It very straight with the exception of a scrape and slight bend on right side. Chrome shop will have no problem making this perfect. SHIPPING IS EXPENSIVE AND THIS WILL FALL INTO THE BALLOON RATE DUE TO IT LOW WEIGHT BUT LARGE SIZE.

2013 Ford Escape can tow 3,500 pounds with EcoBoost engine

The 2013 Ford Escape, which we saw at the Detroit auto show in January, will have a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds when equipped with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, Ford said on Wednesday. That number easily bests four-cylinder-equipped competitors such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Kia Sportage and the Acura RDX. Ford says the new engine will make enough power to pull two jet skis down to the lake with a trailer, or to drag a snowmobile to the frozen tundra.

Jaguar Crossover could be the Q-Type or XQ

The fastest growing segment in the car market is the Crossover / SUV, especially the more compact crossovers. So if Jaguar are going to compete in the big league they’re going to have to tap in to Land Rover’s expertise at some point and come up with their own Crossover (NOT a Jaguar SUV, as Ian Callum made clear). That could perhaps be getting closer with the news that Jaguar has registered both the Q-Type and XQ monikers after Pistonheads played Sherlock and dug the details out from the bowels of the European Union trademark database.
