Vintage Tube Type Car Radio (unknown Manufacturer) - Works! on 2040-parts.com
Westford, Massachusetts, US
You are bidding on a vintage tube type radio of unknown manufacturer. This radio came out of an MGA, but fits many cars from back then. I applied power and a speaker and antenna and it works (AM only). I don't know if it is positive ground or negative ground, but I think with the tubes it did not matter, not sure. This radio and be fixed up (needs face plate and knobs as well as the dial indicator repaired), or, it could be used as parts for another tube type radio since the tubes are working. It has wires for an external speaker, but looks like it could have an integral speaker installed as well (none installed now).

Watch Tesla Model S testing new titanium armor
Wed, 23 Apr 2014In a missive signed by Elon Musk himself, Tesla announced it would be adding titanium plates and aluminum deflectors to all new Model S sedans and offering free retrofits for the 20,000 or so existing EVs. The company earlier offered an over-the-air software update to raise the ground clearance of the Model S so the car would be more likely to clear dangerous road debris. The actions were in response to well-publicized fires in the electric luxury sedans.

2012 Mini Cooper S Coupe review notes
Tue, 09 Oct 2012EXECUTIVE EDITOR BOB GRITZINGER: Just when all the auto pundits thought the big-honkin' all-wheel-drive full-size (at least for Mini) Countryman was the first sign of Mini's impending demise, along comes the apocalypse, otherwise known as the Cooper Coupe. Though people of all ages venture that it “looks cool” or “interesting” or “fun,” none of them have had to drive it or live with it. Let's get out of the way that it can be as fun to drive as a Mini Cooper S, but it's not an improvement over the larger, more functional, more sanely styled model.
