 Up for auction is a ultra rare original accessory shift knob with shift pattern for early VW's.Knob is ivory Bakelite with 10mm thread size for Oct 52-61 Bug,56-61 Ghia & 50-67 Bus with stock shifters with 10mm x 1.5 thread size.This was a Dealer accessory.The knob is in very nice used condition,no cracks or chips,excellent threads and paint is still in tact in the embossed shift pattern,shows some slight patina from age and use being about 60 years old.This is not a cheap inaccurate repro,but a genuine original period accessory shift knob from the 1950's -60's.Originals like this are extremely rare and almost never come on the open market.This would be great for your early VW show car or bus,or a nice rare piece to add to your collection or display case.Please contact me with any questions or concerns before purchasing.Free shipping within the USA.Thanks for looking.
