 Vintage Weem's  Hand Held  Compass in wood box.  This Compass uses 2 "C" type batteries (not included) with red bulb to keep glare down.  Compass and wood box is in very nice condition-  leather strap is broken on one side.  Great unit to have as a back up unit on your boat. Compass measures 9" Long.  Dovetailed Box measures 4 3/4" x 5" x 10 1/2".
 

Most of the items I sell are purchased at shops/garage sales/estate sales, etc.  Unless stated new, they are pre owned items.  I cannot guarantee items I sell are from smoke/pet free homes originally.  I can only say that once I have them, they are in a non smoking environment.  So please keep that in mind when bidding/purchasing.

I do combine shipping based on the weight of the combined items.  If you would like insurance, please email me and I will add it to the invoice.
First Class International shipments only have tracking until the package leaves the US. After that point I have no control of the package. Use this service at your own risk.

Chevrolet Volt prices announced

GM has revealed that the Volt hybrid could cost $33,500 (£21,000) in the US after government tax credits, making it nearly £2000 cheaper than Nissan’s Leaf electric car. The Volt’s List price is $41,000 (£26,300) but qualifies for a subsidy thanks to its low emissions. A basic Volt comes with Bluetooth and sat-nav but buyers can add leather seats and steering wheel, heated seats, rear camera, polished wheels and park assist.

Toyota introduced its third-generation Prius at the Detroit Auto Show with an extensively re-engineered hybrid drivetrain. Ninety percent of the Prius's hybrid synergy drive system has been redesigned, with the focus on weight reduction. The lighter components include the transaxle to cut down on torque loss, inverter with direct cooling and smaller motor.

The Manxter Dual Sport dune buggy was holding by faith alone -- it had been repaired over and over again, parts tied or taped together, seldom replaced; covered in the acrid dust of the desert, a dust that fills your lungs and face, a dust that worms its way into the cabin and across every surface.
