Volkswagen plans return of Microbus

An expanded lineup of Beetle-themed cars are in Volkswagen's future, including a Microbus model that we have seen in various concept forms over the past decade, according to Auto Express. When Volkswagen renews the Beetle in 2019, it will also debut a crossover, coupe and a mini-MPV, all based on the MQB architecture that underpins the new Golf. Famed 1931 Duesenberg Whittell Coupe on the block at Gooding Pebble Beach auction

Gooding & Co. is set to auction what it claims is "America's most elegant automobile," a 1931 Duesenberg Model J by Murphy, at the company's 2011 Pebble Beach auction in August. Not to be confused with any run-of-the-mill Duesenberg Model J, this particular car is known as the Whittell Coupe after its owner, California playboy Captain George Whittell Jr.

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 revealed ahead of Goodwood FoS There were very few dissenting voices when Jaguar revealed their Project 7 F-Type Roadster Concept, homage to Jaguar’s D-Type, and it seems the almost universal approval of Jaguar’s creation has persuaded JLR that a production version of the Project 7 should be Jaguar’s first Special Operations division production car. And here it is. Due to be revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this week, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is a limited run, more powerful, more dynamic and more extreme version of Jaguar’s regular F-Type Roadster.
