UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE YMC COMPASS. I BELIEVE IT WAS MADE FOR A BOAT/SHIP, BUT AM NOT POSITIVE. IT APPEARS TO HAVE A METAL FRAME AND HANDLE WITH A HARD PLASTIC COVER OVER THE COMPASS PART. IT IS ABOUT 6 INCHES TALL, INCLUDING THE HANDLE. IT APPEARS TO WORK PROPERLY, BUT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD NEED TO BE CALIBRATED, WHICH CAN EASILY BE DONE WITH KNOBS ON THE BOTTOM. IT HAS A PORT FOR A PLUG, BUT THERE IS NO CORD. I THINK MAYBE IT LIGHTS UP IF YOU HAD THE CORD. IT SHOWS SOME PAINT WEAR HERE AND THERE, BUT OVERALL, IT APPEARS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. VERY RARE. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Mon, 01 Oct 2012Lexus has expanded the CT 200h range for 2013 with a new entry-level CT 200h S and additional equipment across the CT200h range. Two years on from the launch of the Lexus 200h at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Lexus UK has decided it’s time to have a play and add a new entry-level model. The CT 200h range now gets extended to five models - S, SE, Luxury, F Sport and Premier – with the CT 200h S being the new addition and sporting a new lower price point for the CT 200h.

And now Audi want to play with the announcement of an Audi A4 Black Edition and an Audi A5 Black Edition.

Thu, 01 Aug 2013Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt We did think Lamborghini had come to the end of the road with the Gallardo ahead of an all new Gallardo arriving in 2014, but they have one more trick up their sleeves to milk the last drop out of the most successful car in Lamborghini’s history – the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. The Squadra Corse is, in effect, a road-going version of the tgrack Super Trofeo – as was the Blancpain and the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale – but this looks certain to be the last of the Gallardos. The Squadra Corse gets plenty of input from the Super Trofeo, with a carbon fibre rear wing, carbon ceramic brakes and a carbon fibre, removable, engine cover.
