BMW Art Car Collection premieres online with video tour

The BMW Art Car Collection has made a global debut on the Internet, with a virtual video tour that gives an overview of each car and outlines the collection's development since 1975. Photo and video content are included in the tour for each of the 17 art cars, at www.bmw-artcartour.com. Ford Model A New York-to-LA record attempt ends in breakdown

The New York-to-LA 60-hour record attempt in a 1930 Ford Model A came to an end just outside of Amarillo, Tex., on Tuesday afternoon. After having covered more than 1,700 miles with little incident, aside from an overheating issue in Zanesville, Ohio, that ate up several hours, the car driven by Australians Rod Wade and Michael Flanders suffered a broken crankshaft. The duo planned to set a new record for a pre-war car by driving in their 1930 Ford Model A, nicknamed "Tudor Rose," across the U.S.

Citroen AirCross – based on Citroen C3 Picasso – revealed

The Citroen AirCross - looks like a South America only crossover This could be a new car from Citroen, but it could just as easily be another of those oddities that car makers throw at the southern end of the Americas. Citroen in Brazil has revealed – via Twitter – the Citroen AirCross, which is basically a Citroen C3 Picasso with a bit of Crossover / SUV butchness thrown in to create a rugged urban crossover. And it’s based on the old Citroen C3, which makes us think there’s a chance this may not be a world car.
